Android app for WooCommerce shops
Print WooCommerce orders without paying a commission on every sale.
Install the app on the shop’s Android phone, tablet or Sunmi V2 terminal. Orders from the website print automatically. You are not paying up to 30% commission to another ordering system. In Spain and the UK, the same kind of handheld is often the order device supplied by firms such as Deliveroo and Just Eat.
Sunmi V2 or Bluetooth
Use a Sunmi V2 handheld terminal, or a later Sunmi terminal, or a Bluetooth thermal printer. Pair the printer with the phone or tablet before you sign in.
Receipt languages
Receipts can be printed in English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French, Hindi or Chinese.
The handheld and the printer
A Sunmi V2 is a handheld Android terminal with a screen and a receipt printer in the same device. A Bluetooth thermal printer is the other option: pair it with the phone or tablet, then sign in.
In Spain and the UK, restaurants are often given this kind of order device by delivery firms such as Deliveroo and Just Eat. When someone stops using that service, they can reset the device and use it themselves. Install this app on the reset handset and it prints orders from the WooCommerce website.
How the connection works
You connect the website and the app with the REST API keys from WooCommerce. No extra commission is added to the order.
Buy a licence
Send the form with the printer you use: Sunmi V2 or a Bluetooth thermal printer. One website is £9.99 for the first 30 days, then £49.
Watch your email for the licence
The setup steps on the old site said the licence arrives within 24 hours. The product notes say within 48 hours. Use that window, then sign in with the details you receive.
Create a WooCommerce REST API key
In WooCommerce, open Settings, Advanced, REST API and add a key with read and write permission. Keep the customer key and the secret. The app asks for both when you sign in.
Print from the terminal or the paired printer
On Sunmi V2 you can view and print orders on the device. For Bluetooth, pair the printer first, then sign in.
